He was born in a lower-middle-class family

Kuldeep Singh Rajput was born on 15th September 2000 in a small district of Amroha. He is the son of Dharampal Singh and Shiksha Devi. His father was a farmer while his mother was a housewife.

He had a strong inclination towards sports and always wanted to be an athlete. However, his father did not support him and always urged him to focus on his studies.

Eventually, he became a national champion in the 10,000m running event and made his way into the spotlight. He is now pursuing his dreams of becoming an Olympic and Commonwealth medalist.

He never had an interest in studies

Having never done any kind of academic research, Kuldeep Singh was always inclined to more exciting pursuits such as sports. The track and field athlete was born into a lower-middle-class family of farmers, helmed by father Dharampal Singh and mother Shiksha Devi. In the sports scene, he was often beaten to the punch, but his competitive spirit stayed with him throughout his teen years and helped him snag a place in one of India’s premier sporting establishments.

He was a fan of snagging a quotient in the world of athletics and was no doubt a keen follower of his older sibling Sundar Singh Chauhan, an accomplished middleweight boxer who is the current Indian heavyweight champion. Having learned the hard way, he went back to chasing his dreams and made it a point to participate in a variety of sports events. The coveted prize was the elusive holy grail of his young heart.

He was an introvert

Kuldeep Singh Rajput is an introvert and doesn’t like to make too many friends. Initially, he wanted to pursue studies, but his father didn’t approve of this. Hence, he decided to focus on sports instead.

He started participating in different events and eventually became a national champion in 10,000m racing event in 2017. His cousin, Sundar Singh Chauhan, has always supported him throughout his journey.

Besides, his coach Sanjay Singh Dhaka has been a great support to him in all his tough times. He has helped him a lot during his time as a national athlete and has guided him through all his hard trainings.

Currently, Kuldeep Singh Rajput is the founder and CEO of Biofourmis, a fast-growing digital health company. He has demonstrated strong leadership experience with building teams, developing talents, and successfully growing, and managing strategic partnerships with global pharmaceutical manufacturers, health systems and payers. He became a track and field athlete

He started training under the guidance of Sanjay Singh Dhaka and learnt a lot about the sport. He was very talented and made a name for himself. He started winning medals in the 1500m running event at the district level and became a national champion.

He was also lucky enough to meet the director of Jhamman Lal Degree College in Amroha, who took a keen interest in his athletic ability and helped him get a spot at the Sunil Kumar International Academy in Hassanpur, Amroha. He also took care of his fees and other expenses. This helped him to take part in a few competitions and win the best of them.
